Since 1992, the Audemars Piguet Foundation for Trees has been contributing to environmental protection programmes that empower communities striving to build sustainable and resilient livelihoods.
Since 1 February 2024, the IUCN French Committee has been implementing its support programme for biodiversity NGOs working in developing countries (ProBioDev). Its three-year objective is to improve the state of biodiversity in developing countries by actioning civil society initiatives and by reinforcing the capacities and partnerships of NGOs.
The aim of the "Bamboo Lemur" conservation programme is to ensure that local populations and wildlife can live together in harmony, while guaranteeing the sustainable management of natural resources and the sustainable development of communities.
Through the projects we support, our approach aims to initiate virtuous circles of sustainable development by and for local communities.
